THE Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Chairman in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) of Abuja, Sunday Zaka, has died.
Zaka died around 3 a.m. on Saturday after a fatal accident on his way to his home in Kuje.
After some partying in the FCT, he died alongside his personal security, Zaka, who is popularly known as HIV.
The chairman’s family are yet to confirm the unfortunate incident but a chieftain of the party, Michael Kpatuba, a member of the Directorate of Media under the office of the Director-General FCT Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) for the 2023 Elections, verified the demise of the PDP Chairman via a Facebook post.
Kpatuba wrote: “You left earlier today (Saturday) around 3 am to your home town Kuje as the time draws closer to voting, we received a sudden and shocking news about your accident.
“Yea, you died alongside your Personal Security.
“This is so shocking and still finding it difficult to say goodbye Sir.
“Remembering the jokes we cracked before you left.
“Dying Election day is really heartbroken to the FCT, PDP Family.
“Rest in peace, Hon Zaka Sunday, FCT PDP Chairman.”
