Atiku Abubakar, presidential candidate of the main opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has won his polling unit, scoring 282 votes.
Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), gathered 57 votes while Peter Obi of Labour Party (LP) scored six votes.
🏆Tinubu wins Gov Makinde’s polling unit in Oyo
The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu, won the presidential election at the polling unit of the Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde.
Tinubu polled 104 votes while Peter Obi of the Labor Party came close second with 82 votes and Atiku Abubakar had 27 votes.
🏆Obi wins one polling unit in Aso Villa
Peter Obi, Presidential Candidate of Labour Party, has won in one of the polling units inside the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
At PU 131, opposite Pilot Gate, State House, Abuja, Obi polled a total of 17 votes while Asiwaju Bola Tinubu of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) secured six votes and former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) secured three votes.

The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, has won at former President Olusegun Obasanjo’s polling unit at Ward 11, Unit 22, Olosomi Compound, Totoro/Sokori, Abeokuta, Ogun State.

The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu, has been declared the winner of his polling unit.
Tinubu pulled 33 votes beating his counterpart Peter Obi of the Labour Party who scored eight votes while Atiku Abubakar of the People’s Democratic Party came a distant third with one vote.
INEC begins sorting, counting of votes
SORTING and counting of votes have started in some polling units across the country.
The ICIR reports that presidential and National Assembly elections which is taken place across the 36 states and the FCT are being contested by 18 political parties.
Data from INEC shows that 87,209,007 of registered voters collected their PVCs and would likely be participating in the election. The figure translates to 93.3 per cent of total number of registered voters which is 93,469,008.

“All over the place I mentioned my favourite candidate, Asiwaju Tinubu, and I believe my constituency will elect him 100 per cent.
“Nigerians should make sure that they are respected; that means that the candidate they want to vote for they are allowed to vote for him. “

11: 30‘ – Former President Olusegun Obasanjo and Bishop David Oyedepo cast their ballots.


11:02am – SDP’s Prince Adewole Adebayo, wife cast their ballots in Ondo.
11:00am’ – VP Osinbajo, wife cast their ballots in Ikenne, Ogun State.
10:25am’ – Bola Tinubu, wife cast ballots in Lagos.
10:00am’ – President Buhari and wife vote in Daura, Katsina State. The president courted controversy by displaying his choice.
🗣Atiku Abubakar: ‘I will like to see an improvement in the quality of the ballot papers. To me, they look so ordinary. I had a challenge with my tomb print. We had to through facial accreditation.
“It was meant to stop vote buying, it is a worthwhile exercise. But the sensibility of the new naira to the common ma, more needs to be done. I am very optimistic.”
9:20am’ – Former VP and the Peoples Democratic Party presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, has cast his vote in Jimeta, Adamawa.
9:15am’ – Governor Ademola Adeleke and his wives cast their votes at their polling unit 09 ward 02, Abogunde area of Ede North Local Government Area in Osun State.

8:50: Remi Tinubu arrives polling unit 034, ward 9, in Falomo, Lagos.

8:50am’ – Accreditation ongoing across the country.
🗣INEC boss: “We have tremendous experience in transmitting results real-time in Nigeria. We successfully transmitted results for 105 constituencies nationwide.
“Please be rest assured that we are aware of the challenges and we have the capacity within the commission to be able to respond to the challenges.
“After all, the BVAS is not an electronic voting machine; it will not operate online on election day. It is completely offline.
“Where we need a little bit of internet connectivity is when we transmit results from the Polling Unit and we are on top of the game.”
