THE All Progressives Congress governorship candidate in Taraba State, Senator Emmanuel Bwacha, has launched his campaign ahead of the March 11 governorship election, promising to combat insecurity and create jobs for the people of the state.

Bwacha told a crowd of supporters in Zing and Yorro Local Government Areas that Taraba State had been plagued by a lack of progress caused by weak leadership, emphasizing that it was time to change the narratives.

He stated that if elected, his administration would prioritize security, agricultural potential, and youth development across the state’s 16 local government areas.

The senator emphasized that it was time for the people of Taraba State to reap the benefits of democracy, saying that only the APC could make that happen.

“Do not allow anyone deceive you that APC has no governorship candidate in Taraba State, I am the legitimate Governorship candidate of APC in Taraba state, because we have conducted a fresh primaries and I emerged as the winner, INEC and all other authorities are aware, and if it means going to court we have the capacity to do so,” he said.

The Chairman of the Taraba State APC, Ibrahim El-sudi, said the state’s ruling People Democratic Party had divided the people across ethnic and religious lines.

He therefore urged the people to turn out in large numbers on March 11, 2023, to elect Bwacha as governor.
