THE governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodimma, has officially informed APC (All Progressives Congress) leaders yesterday that he had agreed to run for a second term.

The governor addressed APC members, including state working committee, local government, and ward representatives at the party’s headquarters on Okigwe Road in Owerri while also commending the members for their commitment and unity of purpose. Heurged them to work together to strengthen the party.

He assured them that their past mistakes had been forgotten while simultaneously pointing out that “loyalty is key to the party and that is politics.”

Addressing the crowd of APC members, the National Vice Chairman (Southeast), Dr. Ijeomah Arodiogbu, thanked them for their commitment and support to the party, noting that “the national body has unanimously agreed that Governor Uzodimma is the only Imo APC governorship candidate for the November 11 election.”
