TWO traditional clubs, Rangers of Enugu and Kano Pillars, will face each other in the round of 32 of the Federation Cup.
The draw was made today and it also pitted Plateau United against either Rivers United or Enyimba, who have not played their round of 64 fixture.
The two heavyweight clashes headlined the draw, but there are some other intriguing pairings in the fixtures, which will be played on May 10.
Nigeria Premier Football League high flyers Bendel Insurance will be up against amateur side Ahudiya of Abia in Calabar, with Warri Wolves and 3SC involved in another big match in Owerri.
In Kano, Mighty Jets of Jos will battle Gombe United, while Osogbo will play host to Ikorodu United of Lagos and Kwara United of Ilorin.
In the women’s round of 16, the key fixtures are Rivers Angels against Osun Babes in Warri and Nasarawa Amazons versus Naija Ratels of Abuja in Lokoja.
The ties are billed for May 11.
