A teenager, identified as Iro Kwarangwal has reportedly stabbed his biological mother, Jummai to death over disagreement in the state.
The incident, as gathered, happened around 5:30pm yesterday at Karshen Kwalta, Rimin Kebe quarters in Ungogo Local Government Area of the state.
“I was standing outside my house when I suddenly heard screaming from the deceased residence,” an eyewitness who spoke on condition of anonymity said.
He revealed that upon rushing in for possible help, he found the deceased screaming for help in the pool of her blood.
The eyewitness further revealed that the suspect fled the scene shortly after he reportedly committed the heinous crime.
He added that the deceased was later rushed to the hospital in a tricycle with blood all over her body and was pronounced dead at the hospital, and had since yesterday been buried in accordance with Islamic rites.
“May Allah forgive her and admit her to paradise,” the witness prayed.
Meanwhile, Kano Police Command confirmed the incident, as the Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Abdullahi Haruna, confirmed promised to give details on the incident.
