THE Minister of Works, Dave Umahi, today paid a visit to Lagos State for his first major inspection tour of federal projects in the state.
The site visitation began on outer Marina Road at Victoria Island, where the Federal Government built a project using the SUKUK financing option.
He then proceeded to the recently rehabilitated Eko Bridge, where he was briefed by officials from the ministries and contractors in charge of the project.
Umahi said the completion of the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway is scheduled for mid-September, years after reconstruction commenced on the ever-busy route.
