Abdulrahaman replaces retired Adesanya as NNL COO

THE Nigeria Football Federation has deployed Dr Ayo Abdulrahaman to the second-tier Nigeria National League (NNL) as the Chief Operating Officer.

The NFF announced the appointment today as Dr Abdulrahaman replaces Emmanuel Adesanya, who has retired from the Federal Civil Service after attaining the age of 60 years.

Abdulrahaman, a doctorate degree holder in Physical and Health Education, is an experienced football administrator who is a deputy director in the Federal Civil Service.

Before his new deployment, Dr. Abdulrahaman worked as deputy director in the NFF Competitions Department.

He had also worked for many years previously as Chief Operating Officer of the NNL, and also in the same capacity in the Nigeria Women’s Football League.
