NAPOLI are considering taking legal action against a toy company for selling a toy that has a remarkable resemblance to Victor Osimhen.

The Serie A champions have announced that they will sue the well-known Italian toy store for the unlicensed doll.

The doll went viral on social media because it has several features similar to the Super Eagles striker’s, including a protective mask with the No.9 on it, a light blue jersey and blonde hair.

Called ‘Cicciobello Bomber’ – which translates to ‘cute and cuddly striker’ – the doll was released by Giochi Preziosi, the company owned by former Genoa chief Enrico Preziosi.

Napoli issued a statement today confirming that the doll is not authorised by the club or Osimhen and is therefore breaching his image rights.

They are planning to take the company to court, they added, according to Football Italia.

Nigeria international Osimhen was recently involved in a spat with Napoli after the club’s official TikTok account trolled him with a video that portrayed him as a crybaby.

The 24-year-old, the Serie A top scorer last season as Napoli won their first Scudetto in 33 years, has scored five goals this term after shaking off a three-match dry spell.
