PRESIDENT Bola Tinubu has ordered that the commencement of 14 universities approved by ex-President Muhammadu Buhari be delayed due to a shortage of funds.
The Minister of Education, Prof Tahir Mamman, made the announcement immediately after meeting with the President at the Presidential Villa in Abuja yesterday.
Ola Olukoyede, the newly confirmed Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), and Muhammad Hammajoda, the Commission’s Secretary, also met with the President.
The President also met with Senator Tanko Al-Makura, a former governor of Nasarawa State, who advised Nigerians to be patient with the President’s administration since the policies implemented will produce favorable results soon.
