ALEX Iwobi posted another impressive performance today as Fulham claimed a second straight 5-0 English Premier League win by thrashing West Ham 5-0 at Craven Cottage.
The Nigeria international assisted one of the goals in today’s rout, setting up Willian for the second goal in the 31st minute before Tosin Adarabioyo, Harry Wilson and Carlos Vinicius added further strikes.
Iwobi has now been directly involved in four goals in his last three Premier League home games: one goal against Wolves last weekend, two goals in the 5-0 thrashing of Nottingham Forest in midweek and today’s assist.
With the big win, Fulham climbed above Brentford and Chelsea into 10th spot in the table.
Chelsea, who lost 2-1 at Manchester United in midweek, were beaten again today by Everton at Goodison Park.
Abdoulaye Doucoure opened the scoring in the 54th minute and youngster Lewis Dobbin netted his first-ever Everton goal in added time as the Toffees eased to a 2-0 win.
Everton, who were deducted 10 points over financial breaches, moved four points of the relegation zone while Chelsea sank to 12th.
At Kenilworth Road, champions Manchester City secured their first Premier League win in five games by coming from behind to beat their plucky hosts Luton Town 2-1.
Elijah Adebayo, the Luton Town striker born in England with Nigerian heritage, headed the promoted side in front just before half-time.
City, who picked up just three points from their previous four matches and dropped out of the top three, responded with two goals from Bernardo Silva and Jack Grealish to stay in fourth and within four points of leaders Liverpool.
Luton Town are 18th, four points from safety.
