JUSTICE Inyang Ekwo of the Federal High Court in Abuja has granted bail to Willie Obiano, the immediate past governor of Anambra State.
He directed that the previous governor be limited to judicial jurisdiction.
He also directed the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission to leave the defendant’s travel documentation with the court registrar.
Ekwo further directed the registrar to notify the Nigerian Immigration Service about the event.
The prosecution attorney, Slyvanus Tahir, SAN, had asked the court to remand the former governor.
He then adjourned the case till March 4, 5, 6, and 7 for the continuation of the trial.
