Nigerian celebrities have taken to social media to react to the sudden death of the Chief Executive Officer of Access Holdings, Herbert Wigwe, his wife, Chizoba and son who all died in a chopper crash.
According to the San Bernardino Sheriff’s Department, the helicopter took off from Palm Springs Airport around 8.45 pm yesterday and was heading to Las Vegas when it crashed around 10 pm.
The 57-year-old bank executive, his wife, and their son were said to be on board the ill-fated chopper.
The group chairman of the Nigerian Export Group, Abimbola Ogunbanjo, is also said to have been on the Chopper.
Reacting to the sad news, popular Nollywood actor Muyiwa Ademola wrote, “May The Lord rest the souls of the departed.
The father, the mother and their son with other 3 people, all gone like that! May The Almighty gives the families the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.”
Paul Okoye PaulO , the Founder & Chief Executive Officer at Upfront & Personal Global Management Consultants wrote that he is heartbroken, “Oh My God! What?”, he wrote adding a heartbreak symbol.
Nollywood actress, Sophia Williams added, ‘This life is so fragile. One minute you are gone. May their soul rest in peace.”
