THE quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League will see some blockbuster ties following the draw held today.
English Premier League leaders Arsenal have been drawn against German giants Bayern Munich, who have often been a stumbling block for the Gunners in the competition.
In another tasty tie, holders Manchester City are up against 14-time winners Real Madrid, who won the trophy last in 2022, beating Pep Guardiola’s side on the way.
Paris Saint-Germain, in the hunt for their first-ever title in the competition, will battle Barcelona, whose last triumph was in 2015 when Lionel Messi was still at the club.
The fourth quarter-final tie is between Atletico Madrid and Borussia Dortmund.
The semi-final draw was also held today, with the winners of the Arsenal versus Bayern Munich tie to face either Real Madrid or Manchester City, while PSG or Barcelona will take on Atletico Madrid or Borussia Dortmund.
According to the schedule, the quarter-final matches are to be played on April 9 and April 10 for the first legs, a week later for the return fixtures.
The semi-final first legs are billed for April 30 and May 1, and the second legs a week after.
