THE President has emphasized the importance of supporting locally made products to boost the Nigerian economy and strengthen the naira.

The Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the President, Ajuri Ngelale, disclosed this today in a press briefing with the State House Correspondents.

“One, His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu wants to communicate very clearly to our people, that there has never been a more important time in our history to actively agree together,” he said.

President Tinubu has urged citizens to prioritize purchasing goods made in Nigeria across various sectors.

This initiative is part of efforts to enhance the country’s currency value against global currencies.

The government has also implemented schemes like the presidential conditional grant program to support small businesses and large manufacturers.

He noted that president Tinubu is focused on improving the lives of Nigerians by reducing unnecessary expenses, ensuring accountability in government spending, and considering a sustainable increase in the minimum wage after stabilizing the currency.
