THERE were 15 players in the Super Eagles camp at the last count as they prepare for 2026 World Cup qualifiers against South Africa and Republic of Benin scheduled for this week and next week.

Among the players spotted in the Uyo camp of the three-time African champions are Bayer Leverkusen striker Victor Boniface and Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi, both of whom missed the run to the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations final in Cote d’Ivoire in January and February.

The Super Eagles host South Africa at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo on Friday and are away to Benin Republic in Abijdan, Cote d’Ivoire three days later.
