REAL Madrid will formally present Kylian Mbappe to the club’s fans next week, the European champions have announced.
The France captain joined the Spanish giants on a free transfer in June after seven years with Paris Saint-Germain.
“Real Madrid CF announces that next Tuesday, July 16, at 12:00 p.m., the presentation of our player Kylian Mbappé will take place at the Santiago Bernabéu stadium,” the club stated today.
“Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez will welcome Kylian Mbappé to Real Madrid City for the signing ceremony that will bind our new player to the club for the next five seasons.
“After the presentation, Kylian Mbappé will speak to the media in the press room at the Santiago Bernabéu.”
Mbappe, 25, initially joined PSG on loan from Monaco in 2017 before making the move permanent for €180m the following year.
At PSG, he made 308 appearances overall, scoring 256 goals and making 108 assists. He won numerous trophies with the big-spending French side, including six Ligue 1 titles.
Mbappe will wear the No.9 jersey at Real Madrid, following in the footsteps of icons like Ronaldo, Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema.
