The Ministry of Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation on Tuesday, October 5, took its mega empowerment initiative to the Epe community in Lagos.
Recall that the ministry through its commissioner, Mrs Cecilia Bolaji Dada had disclosed that the empowerment initiative championed by WAPA is specifically made to drastically reduce poverty among indigent residents.
Indigents and Vulnerable beneficiaries under the Lagos State Government’s Social Register were empowered with sewing machines, milling machines, sharwama griller, pop-corn machines, barbing kits with generators and Professional hair dryers.
