Mr Lucky Monye has been inducted by the Super Eagles Supporters Club (SESC) as its national ambassador.
While speaking at the induction ceremony in Asaba, Delta State, the President of the SESC, Vincent Okumagba, mentioned that Monye also had the privilege to nominate five persons who could travel with the SESC to anywhere around the world, stating that Monye is the first member to be inducted as ambassador in Delta state,
Okumagba revealed that the body was formed several years ago to provide moral support o the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
While emphasizing that football had become a unifying factor in Nigeria, he stated that the club travels with the Super Eagles anywhere around the world.
He went on to say that a screening committee of the body had identified Monye as a man who helps society and people around him.
When giving a remark after his decoration, Monye mentioned that he was privileged to be the first ambassador among millions of people in the state to be nominated as SESC ambassador.
He assured that he would continue to support and partner with the SESC by joining hands in order to chart a course for the football supporters club.
