Bella Shmurda was deported from Ghana after the Adjabeng Circuit Court in Accra found him guilty of attacking a doctor with a fork while in quarantine.
As well as being deported, he was also fined GH*2,000. He was deported along with two others, namely Ramsey Omeofe and Jubreel Abimbola.
According to Sahara Reporters, they were also forbidden from travelling to Ghana for three months.
Bella Shmurda and two others became agitated and assaulted the doctor after being put into quarantine for testing positive for COVID-19.
According to reports, the trio was quarantined upon arrival in Ghana as mandated during the pandemic and underwent COVID tests.
They were quarantined at an Accra hotel and had their swabs taken. Their swabs were positive for the virus, so they remained in quarantine.
They allegedly attacked the doctor who delivered the news with a fork, apparently angry and agitated that the report would disrupt their trip to Ghana.
The attack was allegedly part of a plot to escape quarantine by the trio.
