Donald Trump has hinted at uncertainty over his ability to use the funds raised for a potential political campaign, given the constitutional limit of two presidential terms.
Addressing Congressional Republicans in Miami, on Monday, Trump noted, “I’ve raised a lot of money for the next race that I assume I can’t use for myself, but I’m not 100 per cent sure.”
His remarks sparked laughter as he added, “I think I’m not allowed to run again, but I’m not sure. Am I, Mike?” referring to Republican House Leader, Mike Johnson, as reported by AFP.
The funds in question highlight Trump’s enduring political influence and his ability to rally financial support even after completing his second term in the White House.
