The suspended traditional ruler of Orile Ifo, Oba Abdulsemiu Ogunjobi, has been remanded in a correctional centre in Ilaro, Ogun State, following his arraignment before the Ifo Magistrate Court.
The monarch, accused of assault, was denied immediate release after failing to meet the bail conditions set by the court.
He appeared in court on Tuesday to face a three-count charge brought against him by the Nigeria Police Force.
The charges include conspiracy, assault, and conduct likely to cause a breach of public peace.
