The Nigerian Healthcare Excellence Award (NHEA) has announced the opening of nominations for its 11th edition, scheduled to take place on June 27, 2025, at the Convention Centre, Eko Hotel & Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.
The award, which has been recognizing excellence in Nigeria’s healthcare sector for over a decade, has introduced a new Health Tech category this year to recognize excellence in healthcare facilities across Nigeria.
The theme for this year’s award is “Collaborating for Impact: Strengthening Health Systems through the SWAp Approach,” which highlights the importance of multi-sectoral partnerships and coordinated efforts in driving sustainable healthcare improvements.
Nominations can be submitted online and will close on May 2, 2025. The public is encouraged to participate by nominating deserving individuals and organizations across various award categories.
According to Dr. Wale Alabi, Project Director NHEA, “This year’s theme underscores the collective role of stakeholders across both public and private sectors in strengthening Nigeria’s health system. We invite the public to nominate outstanding contributors and join us in recognizing healthcare champions.”
