Florence Otedola, also known as DJ Cuppy, a well-known disc jockey and daughter of Nigerian billionaire Femi Otedola, recently shared her reflections on her privileged upbringing.
She admitted that she initially did not recognize the wealth of her family background.
Now, DJ Cuppy understands that the privileges she once considered normal are aspirations for many others.
In a post on her X account, she wrote, “Growing up, I didn’t fully realize just how privileged I was. I never had to worry about anything. Thank God I see it now. What felt normal to me is something someone else is praying for. Gratitude changes everything.”
