The organizers announced the nominations for this year’s edition, which aims to recognize excellence among African filmmakers, actors, and content creators who have significantly contributed to the industry over the past year.

Nigerian actors Adedimeji Lateef and Uzor Arukwe received nominations for their performances in “Lisabi” and “Suspicion,” respectively. Adedimeji Lateef is nominated for Best Lead Actor, while Uzor Arukwe is nominated for Best Supporting Actor. Actress Chioma Chukwuka earned a nomination for Best Lead Actress for her role in “Seven Doors.”
