Tanzanian musician Diamond Platnumz has married his long-time lover and record label singer, Zuchu, in a private traditional Islamic ceremony.
The couple wore white Muslim attire for the low-key event, which took place on Sunday, June 1, 2025. Diamond, known for his hit “Komasava,” shared a series of photos from the ceremony on social media.
This wedding follows months of speculation and a previously postponed plan to wed before Ramadan.
In January 2025, Diamond Platnumz had publicly expressed his intention to marry Zuchu before the onset of Ramadan; however, the wedding did not occur at that time.
Later, during the wedding of fellow Tanzanian singer Juma Jux, Diamond reiterated his intentions, reigniting excitement among his fans.
