The Ambrose Alli University (AAU) Alumni Association, Lagos State Chapter, has elected a new Executive Council to lead the association for the next tenure.
The election, held on June 15, 2025, at Adna Hotel Ikeja, Lagos, was conducted transparently and peacefully, in accordance with the association’s constitution.
The newly elected officials include Barr. A.R.T Omuvwie as Chairman, Lady Adesua Ogidi as Vice Chairman, and Andrew Enegbeta Obiazi as Secretary, among others.
The immediate past chairman, Rev. Samuel Okotete, officially handed over to the new leadership in a symbolic ceremony.
At the end of the exercise, the following members emerged as the newly elected executives:

The new Chairman, Barr. Omuvwie, expressed gratitude for the trust placed in him and promised to lead with openness, commitment, and a renewed spirit of service.
The Lagos State Chapter remains committed to advancing the legacy of Ambrose Alli University through active alumni engagement, community service, and support for the institution.
The election was observed by a representative of the National Executive Council (NEC), who praised the Lagos chapter for setting a remarkable example of democratic engagement and alumni unity.
With the new leadership in place, the association is poised to continue its mission of promoting the interests of Ambrose Alli University and its alumni.
