THE National Insurance Commission (NAICOM) with effect from June 21, has revoked the registration certificates for Standard Alliance Insurance Plc (RIC-091) and Niger Insurance Plc (RIC-029).
This information may be found in a statement made on Tuesday in Abuja by Mr. Rasaaq Salami, Head of Corporate Communications and Market Development at NAICOM.
Salami stated that Sanya Ogunkuade Esq. of Plot 217, Upper Grace Plaza, Utako, Abuja has been chosen by the Commission to serve as the liquidator for Niger Insurance Plc.
He states that Kehinde Aina, Esq. of Aina Blankson LP, 5/7, Ademola Street, Ikoyi, Lagos, has also been chosen by the Commission to serve as the liquidator for Standard Alliance Insurance Plc.
He recommended all interested parties to send their questions to the appropriate receiver or liquidator for each company so they can take the appropriate step.
Salami reminded all parties involved that the Commission was ready to protect their assets and to ensure their safety.
