Big European clubs, including Manchester United and Bayern Munich, have been linked with Victor Osimhen in recent weeks but Napoli have insisted that no offers have been received for the Nigerian.

The English and German giants have been reportedly plotting moves for the Super Eagles striker as potential replacement for their wantaway stars Cristiano Ronaldo and Robert Lewandowski respectively.

However, Napoli, who reportedly want €100m for Osimhen, are yet to see any serious intention from the clubs as the Italian club insist that only a big bid would tempt them to sell the Nigeria international.

“There’s no bid for Osimhen… we’ve received some calls to explore the situation,” Napoli Sporting Director Cristiano Giuntoli told Italian media today.

“Huge, really huge bid is needed to sell Osimhen.”

Osimhen joined Napoli from Lille for €80m in 2020 and has produced 28 goals and nine assists in 62 appearances for the club.

Giuntoli added that Napoli are doing everything they can to keep Senegal defender Kalidou Koulibaly.

“Koulibaly told us he wants to think about our new deal proposal and explore the options for his future,” the director said.

“Koulibaly is a key player for us. There’s no bid from any club. We’ve offered him a new deal for €6m net salary per season plus future role as part of the board.

“It’s a huge proposal, €60m gross for Napoli – Koulibaly deserves it all.

“We didn’t need to tell Koulibaly that we’re not selling him to Juventus – because we consider Koulibaly untouchable and non-transferrable.”
