SINGER, Tiwa Savage has been awarded an honorary doctorate by the University of Kent during its congregation ceremonies at Canterbury and Rochester cathedrals.
The University’s reason for this was the acknowledgement of the songstress’ musical feat.
“Tiwa Savage will be made Doctor of Music in recognition of her inspirational and international career in music.”
The event was attended by her family members and friends. The mother of one also has a degree in Accounting from the University.
Tiwa Savage joins the list of Nigerian celebrities who have been awarded doctorate degrees by foreign universities.
