THIRTEEN people have been burnt to death and six others injured in an accident involving a Toyota bus and a Hyundai SUV on Gaya-Wudil road in Kano State.
Confirming the accident, FRSC Sector Commander in Kano, Zubairu Mato, said the bus with registration number: GML 102 TA, of Kano Line was coming from Gombe State when it collided with the jeep at about 8pm on Sunday night.
He said the cause of the accident was over speeding and dangerous overtaking.
He, therefore, urged drivers to always ensure the use of the speed limit device and avoid dangerous overtaking.
