A 37-year-old businessman named Chukwunonso Chukwujekwu was found dead in Tudun Wada area of Boi in the Bogoro Local Government Area of Bauchi State.
The late Chukwunonso, according to information gathered today, was from the Anambra East Local Government Area of Anambra State, although he lived and worked in Boi village.
He was turbaned as the Kaigaman Boi by Mallam Bala Likita, the supreme Boi ruler, till his passing.
Joel Daniel, a member of the Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC) in the neighborhood said residents were perplexed by the enigmatic circumstances surrounding his death.
Daniel explained that after being reported missing to both the PCRC and the Bogoro Police Division, the victim was later found dead in a hotel room.
When reached, SP Ahmed Wakil, the public relations officer for the Bauchi State Police Command, verified the event and stated the commissioner of police has mandated an investigation to determine the exact cause of his demise.
