CRISTIANO Ronaldo scored his first hat-trick in Saudi Arabia tonight and added an extra goal as Al Nassr defeated Al-Wehda 4-0.

The 38-year-old joined the Saudi Professional League leaders in January in a staggering $200 million deal but struggled in his first few appearances.

He appears to have now fully adapted to his new surroundings, starring in tonight’s big win and passing the 500-goal mark in league football in his glittering career.

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner struck twice in the first half and added two more after the break, completing his 61st career hat-trick from the penalty spot in the 51st minute before rounding off the scoring 10 minutes later.

Former Manchester United and Real Madrid forward Ronaldo, who has scored over 800 goals for clubs and country, has now netted at least four goals in one game for the 11th time.

The victory took Al Nassr back to the top of the Saudi Professional League table, level on 37 points with Al Shabab, who have played a game more.

Odion Ighalo’s club Al Hilal are third with 34 points but one game in hand over Al Nassr.
