OGUN: I’ll give a good fight to criminals – CP Mba

NEWLY-appointed Commissioner of Police in the State, CP Frank Mba, has stated that there will be no hiding place for criminals and perpetrators of criminal activities in the state, as he will give a good fight.

 Mba made this known when he visited the state governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun in his office in Abeokuta. He took over from his immediate predecessor, CP Lanre Bankole at the Eleweran Police Headquarters, Abeokuta. 

The immediate past CP Border Patrol Force, Department of Operations, Force Headquarters, Abuja, added that he would collaborate with other security agencies in the state and the command under his watch will provide a safe environment during the general elections.

Speaking further, Mba who was a three-time Force Public Relations Officer of the Nigerian Police Force, assured that he will also ensure political neutrality, and the people of the state will be at the top of his priorities.

 He said, “I am here to fight crimes and fighting crimes I will do. We will do everything to support your vision of zero tolerance for insecurity and we will collaborate with other security agencies.” 

“The command under my watch in conjunction with other security agencies will provide a safe environment during the general elections, we will also ensure political neutrality, the people of the state will be top of our priorities, and we will defend human rights,” he added.

The CP stated that he is a witness to the huge support the governor has given to security agencies in the state in the last three and half years, stressing that he would defend the rights of the residents of the state.

 Mba acknowledged the sterling leadership of Governor Abiodun and appreciated him for creating the enabling environment for security agencies to strive in the state.
