REAL Madrid have been drawn to battle Chelsea in the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League, with Victor Osimhen’s Napoli up against AC Milan.
The draw was held today in Nyon, Switzerland, with the ties set for April.
In the other quarter-final pairings, Manchester City will face Bayern Munich, while Inter Milan will play against Benfica.
The headline pairing of the quarter-finals is obviously the tie between holders Real Madrid, who dismissed Liverpool 6-2 in the round of 16, against a resurgent Chelsea side that won the title in 2021.
The Italian derby between Napoli, who have been steered towards their first Serie A title in 33 years by prolific Nigeria striker Osimhen, and AC Milan is also intriguing as games between both sides are usually tight.
Pep Guardiola will take his quest for his first Champions League title with Manchester City to Bayern Munich, a club he previously managed to three straight semi-finals in the competition but not the trophy.
The semi-final draw was also held today, with the winners of the AC Milan versus Napoli tie to meet either Inter Milan or Benfica.
In the other half of the draw, Real Madrid or Chelsea will battle Manchester City or Bayern Munich.
The quarter-finals are scheduled for April 11 and April 12 for the first legs and the return legs the week after.
The semi-finals are on May 9 and May 10 for the first legs, with the second legs the following week, while the final is on June 10 in Istanbul, Turkey.
