SUPER Eagles players will not only be gunning for the three points against Guinea-Bissau tomorrow, they will also be in line to win N4 million in individual prizes.
The three-time African champions host Guinea-Bissau at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja in the first of two Africa Cup of Nations qualifying clashes tomorrow.
The reverse tie is scheduled for Bissau on Monday, with the Eagles seeking to extend their lead at the top of the qualifying Group A table.
In a bid to inspire the Super Eagles to victory, Nigeria Football Federation’s partners are offering various individual awards to the team’s top performers.
Nigerian Breweries PLC, a long-standing partner of the NFF, is offering N3m in cash rewards on behalf of their products Life and Goldberg, both of which are beer brands.
There is N1m for the Man of the Match award and another N1m for the new Energy Moment of the Match prize. An additional N1m will be presented to the Match Winner.
Telecommunication outfit MTN is also offering N1m for the Most Valuable Player of the encounter.
The Super Eagles are on top of their group with six points from two matches, while Guinea-Bissau are second two points behind.
Sierra Leone are third with two points after yesterday’s 2-2 draw with Sao Tome and Principe, who earned their first point from the match.
