NAPOLI could have two Nigerian Victors in their squad next season if they succeed in their pursuit of Victor Boniface.

The Serie A leaders already have Super Eagles star Victor Osimhen leading their forward line and topping the Serie A goals chart with 21 strikes.

Boniface has also been in good form this season with Union Saint-Gilloise, registering 14 goals and eight assists in 39 appearances across all competitions.

The 22-year-old has shone in the Belgian Pro League and in the UEFA Europa League, where he has produced five goals and one assist in eight games to steer USG to the quarter-finals, where they will face Germany’s Bayer Leverkusen.

According to Calciomercato, Napoli and AC Milan are reportedly interested in the 22-year-old, who joined USG from Norway’s Bodo/Glimt for €2m last summer.

The Italian transfer outlet claimed today that Boniface’s representatives have been in contact with Napoli and Milan recently, with Lazio also keen on the Nigerian forward.

Belgian outlet Nieewsblad added that Napoli have been closely scouting Boniface this season and been impressed with what they have seen, and could make a move in the summer.

Union Saint-Gilloise reportedly value Boniface at around €10m, which the Italian sides could see as a bargain for the productive striker.
