THE Sokoto state governor Ahmad Aliyu has directed the reversal of “major” decisions made by the previous governor of Sokoto State, Aminu Tambuwal before he left office.
This is happening within 24 hours after Tambuwal’s left office.
Abubakar Bawa, the press secretary for the Sokoto State government, said in a statement today that the cancellation of appointments took effect as soon as Aliyu took office.
According to the statement, one of the governor’s significant decisions today was to immediately reverse all appointments after March 19, 2023 made by the departing administration to the State Civil Service.
