ACTRESS Saraphina Amaechi says she wants to look like a 16-year-old for the rest of her life.
The movie star in a recent interview noted that despite the belief that Nollywood actresses are loose and not fit to keep a home, she’s optimistic that her marriage would be different.
“I agree that there is this general belief that actresses can keep a home, but far from that we actually make good wives. Actresses can keep a home because we are very sensitive to how we move, act and relate with people. So, it helps most of us stay locked in with partners. My marriage will work! I want a man who has consistency and stability. He has to be principled, exposed and love me unconditionally. Love comes first for me anytime, even before sex and money,” she gushed.
Saraphina who says she’s 16 year old, gave her reasons, “Because I’m a sweet 16 that will never age (laughs). That’s exactly how young my mind feels of myself. So, I want to remain forever 16.”
On the most challenging role she had played, the dark-skinned Anambra State born diva recalled a death scene she played.
“My most difficult scene was acting a pastor’s wife. I had to quote bible verses on a death scene. I feel very uneasy whenever I find myself in the position of putting off the death act. I also think Nollywood needs to build up their stand in the entertainment industry, and also raise new acts, most importantly there should be more reality obtained acting like our sensitive scenes.”
