A TRIO of English Premier League clubs are keen to add Kelechi Iheanacho to their squads, according to reports in England.
The clubs tracking the Leicester City forward are reportedly Crystal Palace, West Ham United and Brentford, incidentally all based in London.
The clubs are plotting to sign the Nigeria international on a free transfer at the end of the season, TeamTalk claimed today.
Iheanacho joined the Foxes from Manchester City in August 2017 for about €28 million after three-and-a-half years with the Citizens.
The 27-year-old Super Eagles striker has made 223 appearances for Leicester City, registering 61 goals and 35 assists.
He has contributed five goals and one assists in 15 games this season as table-topping Leicester City seek a quick return to the Premier League from the Championship.
The left-footed forward’s current contract at Leicester City expires in June next year and he will become a free agent if the deal is not extended.
Iheanacho can even start talking to new clubs in January and sign a pre-contract for a permanent move in July.
If Iheanacho joins Brentford he would be linking up with Super Eagles teammate Frank Onyeka.
