RASMUS Hojlund has been voted the English Premier League Player of the Month for February, beating the likes of Bukayo Saka and Phil Foden to the prize.
The 21-year-old Manchester United striker has become the first player from Denmark to ever win the award after a stellar month.
No player was directly involved in more Premier League goals in the month than Hojlund, who scored five and assisted one.
Hojlund, who is recovering from an injury, scored in all four of his February appearances, winning each match. It extended his overall Premier League scoring streak to six matches, the youngest player in history to achieve this.
Meanwhile, Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta won the Manager of the Month award ahead of Manchester City’s Pep Guardiola and Manchester United’s Erik ten Hag.
Arteta has now won the award for the seventh time as his Arsenal side were the only Premier League team with a 100 per cent winning record in February, beating leaders Liverpool, West Ham United, Burnley and Newcastle United.
The Gunners also had the best attack in February, scoring 18 goals, six more than anyone else, and the joint-best defence, conceding only twice.
Manchester United youngster Kobbie Mainoo has claimed the Goal of the Month award for his brilliant finish against Wolves in a 4-3 win.
The 18-year-old midfielder nutmegged a Wolves player, strode to the edge of the box and curled a superb effort into the bottom-right corner in the seventh minute of stoppage time at Molineux to give his side the dramatic victory.
