Sir Shina Peters now a Bishop

AFRO-Juju exponent, Sir Shina Peters ìs now a bishop in the Cherubim and Seraphim Church. The music veteran made this known on his Instagram page yesterday, January 31. 

According to him, the ordination took place the previous day, Saturday at the Iju, Lagos branch of the church.

He posted a video with the caption “Bishop with the swagger. God above all.”

Sir Shina Peters reigned supreme on the Afro Juju scene of the ‘80s through the ‘90s when he became a household name. He hails from Ogun State and was born in 1958. 

He is a multiple award-winner who came gained widespread attention with his album, Ace, released in 1989.
