A fire broke out early this morning, destroying the only market in Trademore Estate, Lugbe, Abuja.
The blaze reportedly began around 3:30 AM, coinciding with the restoration of electricity by the Abuja Electric Distribution Company (AEDC).
However, the exact cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
At the time of this report, newsmen are unable to confirm the extent of the damage caused by the fire.
It took two hours for firefighters from the Federal Fire Service, including teams from the EFCC and Sauka Station, to bring the fire under control.
