Three undergraduate students of the Ogun-State-owned University, Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye have been confirmed dead in a road crash along Ilishan/ Ago-Iwoye road.
Two others were said to be injured and currently receiving treatment at the school’s medical centre.
The police public relations officer Omolola Odutola confirmed the incident in a statement issued in Abeokuta, the state capital.
She said that the accident occurred around 3:30 PM on Friday as a result of overspeed by the driver of the commercial vehicle the students were travelling in.
