SUPER EAGLES midfielder Wilfred Ndidi could be on his way to Fenerbahce, who are currently managed by former Chelsea and Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho.

If the move happens, Ndidi would be teaming up with his international teammate Bright Osayi-Samuel.

According to Turkish outlet Fanatik, Mourinho is set to make the final decision on a move for Ndidi, who has spent eight years at Leicester.

The Nigeria international has reportedly been offered to Fenerbahce by his managers, who also have Franck Zambo Anguissa as a target.

Ndidi is looking to leave Leicester after their relegation from the English Premier League was confirmed and recent reports have claimed that he has a €9m relegation release clause in his current deal.

His managers are offering him around to drum up potential interest and that has seen him offered to Fenerbahce ahead of the summer, according to Sport Witness.

Mourinho, who joined Fenerbahce last year, is believed to have the final say on any potential deal for the 28-year-old Ndidi.

If the former Manchester United and AS Roma boss approves the deal, Fenerbahce are expected to try and finalise the move as soon as possible to try and beat the competition to Ndidi’s signature, as the midfielder has been linked to English clubs like Crystal Palace and Brighton.

Ndidi joined Leicester for around €18 million in January 2017 and has made 300 appearances for the Foxes with 18 goals and 21 assists in all competitions.
