Tom Njemanze, a renowned Nollywood actor, has passed away at the age of 75 after a prolonged battle with prostate cancer.
He died on Thursday, having been bedridden for some time, although many had believed his condition was improving until the news of his death broke.
Njemanze rose to fame in the 1990s and became a household name through his memorable roles in Nollywood classics such as “Tokunboh,” “Pounds and Dollars,” “Atosa,” “Issakaba,” “Osuofia in London,” “Brain Box,” and “Igbotic Love.”
Celebrated for his expressive delivery and commanding on-screen presence, Njemanze leaves behind a legacy as one of the enduring icons of Nigerian cinema.
