LAGOS: LASEMA recovers corpse, articulated vehicle, bus, car at Oshodi accident spot

TO prevent impediments to traffic at dawn, the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) cleared the ever busy Oshodi road of an early morning accident.

The agency’s Response Team in a swift operation recovered the corpse of a yet to be identified victim, an articulated vehicle, a bus, and a Honda taxi cab to ensure free flow of traffic in that axis of Lagos.

Situation report on the Oshodi road traffic accident has it that, “On getting to the scene a trailer with registration number KJA 138 XD was discovered had had an accident which involved a commercial bus with registration number AAA 338 XY and a Honda taxi cab with registration number FKJ 163 AW.

“Further investigation revealed it was due to brake failure of the trailer before running into the vehicles.

“An adult male lost his life, while two others sustained various injuries which were taken care of by the agency’s Bravo team.

“The victim has been bagged and handed over to Police Officers from Akinpelu Police Station, while the trailer and other vehicles were recovered from the road with the agency’s super metro and also handed over to the Police. Operations concluded”.
