Actor Uche Maduagwu to leave Nigeria over harassment, rejections

CONTROVERSIAL Nollywood actor Uche Maduagwu has publicly cried out for being harassed over his sexuality.

In a post shared on his verified Instagram page, the actor disclosed that he is leaving Nigeria because he is being constantly harassed and told that homosexuality is not a Nigerian culture.

Uche Maduagwu wrote: “I dey leave Nigeria, I was harassed again for being gay. They told me being gay no dey naija culture abeg is phone in our culture is Buhari medical trip abroad in our culture.”

Reacting to the post, some social media users slammed the actor for consistently chasing cloud, while others said it is a trick to seek asylum.

Earlier this year, the actor publicly declared his sexuality, which has continued to spark reactions on social media.
