KADUNA: Bandits kidnap two nurses in Kajuru LG

THERE is no respite yet for the residents of the state from the spate of abductions rocking the Northwest region of the country as some bandits have whisked away two other persons from their duty post.

The latest victims of abduction in the state are nurses of Idon General Hospital in the Kajuru Local Government Area of Kaduna State,

They were said to be on night duty when the bandits scaled the fence of the hospital and whisked them away in the early hours of this morning.

It was gathered that the kidnappers kept shooting indiscriminately to scare people in the neighbourhood while the operation lasted.

The incident is coming on the heels of bandits’ attack on Greenfield University along the Kaduna – Abuja highway in Chikun Local Government Area of the state.

The bandits killed a porter of the privately-owned school and reportedly abducted 19 students of the school.

They have since contacted the parents of the abducted students to demand N800m as ransom.
