VICTOR Osimhen was on target again on Monday evening as Napoli defeated Torino 2-0 in their Serie A clash.
The Super Eagles striker scored Napoli’s second goal in the win in Turin.
He struck in the 13th minute, two minutes after Frenchman Tiemoue Bakayoko gave Napoli the lead.
Osimhen’s goal was his seventh in 19 Serie A appearances this season and his fourth in his last six matches.
The Nigerian is gradually returning to the form that made Napoli splash an African record €80m to get him from Lille in September.
After a slow start blighted by injuries and illness, Napoli will be happy with what Osimhen is producing at the moment as they fight for a UEFA Champions League spot.
With Monday’s win, Gennaro Gattuso’s side overtook champions Juventus into fourth place in the Serie A table.
Napoli and Juventus have 66 points each from 33 matches, but Osimhen’s side are ahead on head to head.
